Schlage Keypad Deadbolt

image

Last week I told  you about the decorative collections at Schlage - this week I am also excited to tell  you about their keypad deadbolts. These solutions make it easy for us to give people access to get in our house (mostly just parents) while we are away for extended periods of time - or our contractor when he is working on a more intense project for us. It also rids my keychain of one extra key.

It is super easy to change out your lockset - in my case a little more confusing because I had to drill a hole for the new style of handle - but in most cases, you just unscrew the old and screw in the new!

I love this set because - can you tell?! It matches the door handles on the inside of the house! As you can see, you can still lock with a key, but if you want to use the keypad, you dial in the code (2 are preprogrammed, you can add/remove as you want) and turn the deadbolt and you are locked or unlocked and ready to go! There are batteries to power it - and according to my instruction booklet, they are supposed to last for up to 3 years - so no having to worry about those dying too often!

You can find this keypad deadbolt and other options for your exterior doors at Schlage’s website

*I received a product in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.*
